partial hysterectomy
On sept 28 2006 i had a partial hysterectomy for uterine fibroids. i was diagonsed with myonoma on august 10.my uterus was so big it was the size of 22 weeks being pregnant. i had over 20 fibroids. I was in a lot of pain before the operation. alot of people say there are no symptoms,i disagree.the operation was hard, it was difficult to remove , because it was so big.I am happy to report that i am much better. you also bleed a lot heavier when you have fibroids.menopause is just around the corner my ovaries and fallopian tubes and cervix were left intact. i am 49 years old. thank you for listening
