Family history of fibroids
Hello,
I am 39 years old and was diagnosed with a 5.1cm uteran fibroid a year ago. Due to my busy life style I didn't do anything about it. Over the past several months my periods have become very eratic and heavy. I went back to my doc and now my fibroid was described as a "tumor". First of all, what is the difference? Second, I am a divorced single mom and have had my tubes tied for 10 years. I want a partial hysterectomy due to the fact that my mom and grandmother both had similar problems at my age. Any advice?
