Embolization problems
I'm 31 years of age and had the embolization procedure when I found out I had a 20cm fibroid which had to be treated. It seemed to be the least invasive and we wanted to try for another child later.
Since then I've been into hospital twice to remove the dead tissue which decided to expel itself via my vagina. Each time I'm fully unconscious, and the last time I spent two days on a drip for an infection to my uterous, and they still don't have it all. It's been almost two months since the embolisation and I'm still bleeding. The stench from the dead fibroid as it's passing out of my body is foul and embarrassing. If I had my time again, I would have just had the lump cut out.
